I have a direct drive on it now, a 195 thermostat, set my idle mixture. Backed timing down to 2° btdc, and she still hits 230° idleing.

Thanks man, it is frustrating. Very frustrating. Its a 600 mile round trip to the builder. He is going to do everything he can to get me to the derby this weekend....short of a cracked block. It does suck major monkey nuts though.

motor is fixed......believe it or not, it was an airflow problem. A little sneak peak for those of you thinking about going to Mott, ND. I promise to hit hard.............................. www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhus2p0gVrA

Thanks. It was good to see you and Travis again too. I have another imp picked out for Mott next year. The crowd hated my imperial, but I had a good time anyways. Most all of the North Dakota guys in the pits were fun to hang out with.......................
And let me know when you have videos made, I will buy a few.

Glad you want to bring another Imp back next year. The crowds hate Imps anywhere lol. Could've just been you being in with basically 3 local cars too for all the grief you got. Wish you could've got in on some of the money but I guess thats just how things go someties.
I'm gonna start uploading the videos to youtube tomorrow morning. And naturally yours and Travis's heat will take the longest to upload...

Heats 1,2,3 are up. Heat 3 wont finish processing for awhile. I'll keep uploading later tonite I dont have a playlist yet but theyre at: www.youtube.com/user/pipesrmylifeI'm sure your Dad's video will be better and alot less shaky. During the feature (I did the recording during the feature) I was down by where the cars drive in so the sun kind of messed up the colors and stuff. I'll try using both my video and his video when I make the DVD's so we can have two angles and see different things and the bigger hits a few different ways.
