wuts the point of haveing the headers level with the hood i dont see what that could be helping besides veiw obstruction

I know where etown is coming from we have a derby here like that and i think it is cuz of their insurence reasons and at least the heat is still blowing out the hood then under the car.

idk what the problem is either and i think it is kinda stupid. but like scoooter said the heat is still going out the top and not under the car

There have been numerous flannel who have been hit by a race car and the air cleaner stud being long, the guy lands on the hood and stabs him, heard rumor of it at our local track. Most race track shows will stay relatively close to what they know about race cars Personally I like my headers out the hood just a few inches. Reasons why are- - visibility - I can read the exhaust - less leverage on header bolts so they stay tight - if the hood bends it won't bend them closing a pipe I'll go into a how to build when I'm actually on a computer, phones suck to put boat loads of pics up with..... Unless someone wants to get my pics for me.....
