i plan on keepin it after this year or after this car is junk im gonna take it out and convert it to carb and add some headers on it cause stoney roberts changed their rules some and are allowing us to have headers but no more then three inches above the hood

well ends up all that was wrong was i had a rusty battery cable and terminal i cleaned it and changed the termianl and she started right up with the old gas from last year and sounds like a champ

glad to here man fords are funny with there conections they have to be cleaned all the time at least from my expierence.

been doins some small stuff lately got all the fluids full and got s rubber peice going from the rad to the tranny lines trying to prevent pinching like it did last year ill post pics later also got my electric fan in (zip tied) lol but it works will be fixing the gas tank cover will post before and after pics of that also

you don't loop your tranny lines at the tranny?

no cause my exhaust is cut off right after the header under neath so i would get hotter down their i think next year i will cause stoney roberts changed their rules and allow headers through the roof but only three inches

loop the rubber hose infront where the lines go to the front just keep them clear of the pulleys and other things that may crush into them. did that for year before running headers. just get the good clamps from napa and use tranny hose. I mount a tranny cooler on the dash where the heat core was. longer loop and some air goes through. but for franks shows the cooler needs to be under the hood.

yea i know franks show they have to be under the hood this car is trash anyway this year. do you know if frank gives out a mad dog award i think he used to but i catn remember.

heres my tranny line setup with the rubber hose to the rad. here my electric fan its been through two derbys already heres my switch for the fuel and fan and my a brace i did for my gas tank so it quits shaking around

nice pics man i would do your tranny lines like this you can use rubber hose to make the loop but i would get them lines out of there i ran loop rubber lines ever sence i started derbying in 97 and couldn't run stacks and had no issue untill last year so i went with steel line loop.

I use to loop mine with steel but I try to run a cooler now
