The guy wasn't in my heat.I didn't complain about it I'm not whiner like that .I see myself as better than them...That dash bar was welded in.Of course there was whining about my build they kept calling techs over for this and that etc.So they resorted to knocking my bumper off.PICS to come I'm off to see my kids now.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAiJtUcGwKc&feature=g-all-u2nd half posted. If you listen closely you hear the announcer talking about me."510 Donald Casivant no stranger to demolition derby. Some of you may have seen him at Rutland VT v8's one of our favorites???" @0:27.Didn't quite understand the part after Rutland VT my engine was too loud.

Starting to think about why it quit.I do realize now why it wouldn't start though.Supposed to pump gas and hold it, I kept pumping it, natural instinct with dad's antique carburetor cars lol.I think it quit due to these factors... Air filter, vacuum line came off evac,Idle speed because I was replaying where it stalled and that's first time I let off the gas rather than brake...

Fixed the rearend today.Had a cracked bearing on passenger side axle as well so I just replaced the axle.I got a couple dozen of them laying around.(31 splines...)Took the Detroit locker unit off the torn up ring gear.Used the same housing because this is a "N" case heavy duty center and switched all the internals around using the Detroit locker and 4:56 gears from another welded center section that I had laying around.Old gears were 4:11.

car looks good yet, glad the motor ran good for you... I cringe watching those videos... cars with hoods coming open, trim on yet, wire spoke rims, brake lights even worked on the one yet... ISH!!! not for me...

Well I put the new air compressor to work today. After 5pm when it cooled down today...I had to use the plasma cutter to remove some bars from my cage because it was too heavy and ppl were bitching about it...I even had a fireman complain about it.Aren't those guys supposed to be all about safety? But he was also driving in the derby, go figure...Air compressor had no trouble keeping up.Hell it would take like a minute to go from 95psi to 145psi where the shutoff was set at.It worked like it was taking a tea time break.I also ordered some larger main jets for the carb and a bigger power valve to richen it up more so It will run even cooler.

Front clip is pretty mangled up.Thinking about taking it off for my next run...I already trimmed the sides of the core support.Debating on weather to leave rear half of fenders to keep the hood on or do away with it all...Were not allowed to weld the fenders. And all the bolt areas ripped out with that big shot on the drivers side.
