I just get regular fuel line. Also, if you have a mechanical fuel pump and it has steel line to the carb, cut it out and put rubber line in. Just leave a few inches of the steel at the carb and a few inches at the pump so you can slide the rubber line on them and clamp it. Steel line that close to a hot motor is just begging for vapor lock.

The reinforced rubber fuel lines have threads wrapped inside of the rubber for strength.
Take old vaccum lines and cut a slice lengthwise down them. Use that vaccum line to wrap around the sharp edge of the firewall hole to prevent rubbing and cutting your fuel line.

Your 77 LTD has a rear differential cover? Mine were all 9 inch rears in my cars. They were all big block cars though too.

Yeah montana, mine has the 8 3/4 rear end...sux, but i have heard good and bad about them So, i started to make my set of stacks today...and before someone comments on the pipes not being line up straight, you will see why, and what i am going for when they are all done...lol I got the flanges from Speedway for only $34.99....plus $10 s&h. I was concerned that they wouldn't flow that well with the 90 degree bends,so i thought about welding a curved piece of flat steel inside so that it would have better flow.

just like square tube headers I was actually planning on using square tube...but when i was standing at the metal rack at my local steel supplier, i saw they were having a sale on thick wall exhaust pipe....unfortunately it wasn't thick enough for my pipe bender. Has anyone here ever heard of packing the pipe with wet sand to keep it from kinking when using the bender?
