are you gonna have time to get the car ran this year? i'm not sure yet...there is a Labor Day derby coming up near my place , but there is still a lot of work to do yet, if not there are fall derbies, and occasional winter, and early spring too. (i still need to get my car delivered to my new house....anyone in PA. want to help a fellow driver out?...lol)

in case you guys didnt see this anywhere else...please help ..... Ok guys, i need some help here....this question could probably be posted in the wiring section too,but here goes.....i just got done wiring my 76 LTD with the following diagram: (please hit link below to see diagram) Now here are my questions....when i hit the switch and pushed the button, the solenoid just buzzed very loud. Do i need to bypass the trans neutral switch becuz it seems like the car won't go into park or neutral but i drove the car(it was even inspected) before i stripped it down for derby prep.Is there some kind of vacuum or something on these older c-6 trannys that i am overlooking? I would be the happiest derby guy around if someone could please help me with my questions. Thank you much, Scott Read more: wecrashtoo.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fomoco1&action=display&thread=783&page=1#ixzz1T28jfXJA

I did get the LTD running, rewired, and painted the base coat this weekend. (i still need to hook up the alt. though....once i figure out which wires go where... ) I have tomm. off work so i am going to finish my shifter and try to get both bumpers done too. well, let me see if i can get some new pics up of my build in progress...... Here's ELENOR with her base coat of paint before the new wiring...... and after the new wiring.....

I like the organized plate for all the wiring. That makes it easy to move from car to car.
