You sure do take kill a Taurus seriously but keep up the good work I hate Taurus the 90's were but ugly and cheap plastic. Thanks. This will be my first compact derby and I am going all out. Plus this car should do very well in the rules its going in.

Well I can honestly say this has been one of my funnest derby builds so far. There is a lot you can do to a Taurus once you dig down into it. This car should be a very nice ride once its all done. The trunk is almost done. Still needs more welding, more creases and a window bar. I'm also going to be "V"ing the whole trunk and speaker deck once its all welded together. I have only started the creasing, there will be a lot more to come.

Why did you leave all that plastic dash crap in there?

I left the dash in there because of all the computer control wiring. Don't want to risk messing it up. The dash is all one piece, otherwise i'd take the passenger side part off.

I started working on the front of my taurus now. Hope to have it all wired back up and running soon. This was the biggest our rules would allow on the front.

DAMN is that C challel legal over the coresupport like that? Its 4 inch by 4 inch angle iron, 1/4 thick. The C channel went into the bumper Yep 100% legal. Thats the max our rules allow...I guess they figured nobody would ever actually put something that big on the car.

Yes, every inch of this car is going to be creased. And I literally mean that. I already creased the entire inside and bottom of the car. More updates on the car: Finished my front bumper. Its fully stuffed and welded weighing around 150 pounds.
